Visiting Post-Doctoral Researcher

I joined a cohort of 10 visiting post-doctoral researchers to investigate Language Evolution and Interaction in a year-long position. More about the cohort can be found here. My work at the MPI brought many collaborations, including the use of multiple data sets for investigating repair. I also co-chaired the "Minds, Mechanisms, and Interaction in the Evolution of Language" workshop.

PhD and Masters

Both my PhD (2015) and Masters (2010) degrees were completed in the Department of Applied Linguistics at UCLA. My specialization was in language acquisition, broadly. Bachelor of Arts

My Bachelor's degree (2006, with Honors) was conferred by the Honors College at UNLV. While my initial ambitions at the university were in Hotel and Food Administration, I soon realized my passion for language. I completed by BA in Spanish, with a focus in linguistics in 2006.
